Night staff worker - robert very very rude! General staff were not friedly! Would not stay again!

Manageress, Mel, was helpful and friendly. As advised by other comments, we made sure we got a room on the top floor. As you can see from photos, room decor is straight from 70s sci-fi!

Some other staff were less than helpful esp Otis Lee Crenshaw. Entrance and reception area were ghastly. Apparently it is all about to be refurbed.

The hotel is an easy place to stay - location is awesome, service is friendly. Mel at the reception is purely fantastic, kind and helpful! For families with children definitely recommend the deluxe with kitchenette!

Very nice location and helpful staff. The hotel bathroom was clean so was our bed. Ideally if you are spending one or two nights in South Beach as it is close to shops, beach, restaurants etc.

They need to renew the furniture especially the kitchen equipment.

Very clean hotel. It had comfortable beds and the best of all was the great location. It was only a few blocks away from the beach and restaurants.

The best part of the hotel is it was close to various stores and walking distance to the beach so to speak (about a 10 minute walk). Also, the bed was quite comfy...

I did not like that there was no parking available in close proximity to the hotel except for their valet service that charge $27 dollars to park in front of the building. The pictures misrepresented the facility and despite it being Miami, there was no heat available for the chilly nights so we had to double up on the blankets. Good thing our newborn baby was not as she would have caught a nasty cold with the poorly insulated room. Additionally, the hotel was not up to date like the website's photos.

It was a very clean, pleasant atmosphere with great air-conditioning. Great location for beach, shopping, and seeing the Art Deco buildings.

Breakfast was from 8:30 to 10:30, which was not early enough for us, but it does give people time to go to the beach before breakfast. There were not enough tables for breakfast.
